All Aboard! Model train fanatics, history buffs, and collectors of railroad artifacts love Round House Restoration, Inc.'s annual Roundhouse Festival. The festival, held in the historic Union Pacific Roundhouse includes railyard tours, children's games, storytelling, food, music, and arts and crafts. Labor Day weekend - the last big bash of the season - Evanston Cowboy Days, honoring those who helped the West continue to grow, has been an Evanston tradition for over 70 years. Three days of family fun and adventure are scheduled for Labor Day Weekend. Evanston Cowboy Days features a Professional Rodeo (PRCA sanctioned) Saturday and Sunday at 6:00 pm and Monday at 2:00 pm. A parade for the whole family Monday at 10:00 am on Front Street, everyone is invited to participate. Don't forget the kids fish catch, Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Arts and Craft booths are at the Fairgrounds for your enjoyment. | ![]() |
