Evanston's Community Theatre!
Since 1982, Sagebrush Theatre Productions has entertained Evanston with local acting talent in dozens of plays and other productions.
The community theatrical company was originally endowed with seed money from the Uinta Arts Council, an outgrowth of the mitigation plan during the oil and gas boom in the early 1980’s.
Performances have been staged over the years in the Machine Shop, the Beeman-Cashin building, and the old Evanston High School Auditorium but has found a home at the newly renovated Evanston Cultural Center at The Strand Theater thanks to the Evanston Urban Renewal and Main Street.
Some of the productions at The Strand include:
When Dorothy Meets Alice in Wonderland
Visiting Mr. Green
Sounds of the 60's
