Personal Statement
I love Evanston's downtown! In fact, it was one of the things that convinced me to move to Evanston ten years ago. With a great mix of retail, restaurants, entertainment and service-oriented businesses, our downtown has something to offer everyone in town.
I serve on the Board because I know that healthy downtowns need care and attention. They are often an indicator of the economic health and vitality of a town. I support Main Street's mission to ensure downtowns, and specifically OUR downtown, is economically viable, designed to be both functional and beautiful, and promoted well to all potential shoppers and customers. Through my service, I want to make sure that downtown Evanston is a wonderful place to live, work, and play...for both residents and visitors alike!
