Evanston Animal Control and Shelter

What We Do

The City of Evanston Animal Control and Shelter is a division of the Evanston Police Department and provides the following services to the Evanston community:

• Enforces city ordinance relating to animals
• Controls the stray animal population
• Accepts unwanted pets
• Pet licensing
• Animal adoption
• Animal cremation

The Animal Control Division consists of 2 Community Service Officers who are certified through the State of Wyoming.
