The City of Evanston will not be collecting garbage on Thursday, November 27th, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. If Thursday is your regularly scheduled pick-up day, the Public Works Department requests that you please put your container out THURSDAY evening, so it can be collected on FRIDAY, November 28th. Our office is closed Thursday and Friday, but our Sanitation Dept. will be working on Friday.
