The City of Evanston
will not be collecting garbage on Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1, in
observance of Christmas and New Year’s. If MONDAY is your regular scheduled
pick up day, please put your container out MONDAY evening so it can be
collected in the early morning hours (approx. 4:00 AM) on TUESDAY,
December 26th and TUESDAY, January 2ND. Happy Holidays. Thank you for
